Subject: Building a Clockwork Universe (and showing my work)
Hi
For years, I’ve been obsessed with a single problem I see everywhere: businesses operate like beautifully crafted clocks, each telling its own time, but with no connection to the others. They work, but they’re isolated.
I’ve always wondered, what if you could get all the clocks to tick in unison? What if you could build not just a single clock, but an entire clockwork universe?
Well, I’ve stopped wondering. My team and I are building it, and I wanted to personally invite you to peek into the workshop.
We started with a core principle: every system, every business, can be a self-improving “Data Flywheel.” We call this process The DeReticular Method, and we’re documenting our journey—mistakes and all—as we go.
But this isn’t a simulation. We’re building real companies that solve real problems, and we’re architecting them from the ground up to work in concert:
- We started with energy, creating a resilient, intelligent microgrid with Agra Dot Energy.
- We used that power to fuel motion, building an autonomous logistics network with Kurb Kars.
- And we’re giving that motion a purpose, creating unique real-world experiences with Digital Adventures Outdoors R Us.
Each of these is a gear in the larger machine, a piece of the clockwork universe I’ve spent my career conceptualizing. You can read the full story of my personal journey and the philosophy behind it at BizBuilderMike.com.
We believe this is a new model for building technology, businesses, and even communities. It’s ambitious, a little chaotic, and the most exciting project I’ve ever been a part of.
If this sparks any ideas or you’re curious about the mechanics of it all, I’d welcome the chance to connect. Let me know if you’re open to a brief chat in the coming weeks.
Best,
Michael Noel
